Pirates' Clay Holmes (foot) healthy again
Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Clay Holmes has recovered from his broken foot and is healthy heading into the season.
Holmes is one of many players who benefited from the delayed start to the season, as it allowed him time to fully recover from the broken foot injury that would have had him on the team's injured list had the season started on time. He's expected to be a part of the team's bullpen this season.
Now that he's healthy again, numberFire projects Holmes to pitch a 4.74 ERA this season with 12 strikeouts, 9 walks, and 1 home run allowed.
